Founded in 1979 by Gilles and Ghislaine Plante, PolyExpert remains to this date a family business. Moreover, its founder is still involved in the business management.
At first, PolyExpert's mandate was to serve the conversion market. Through the years, its mandate grew and diversified to processing films for end user and agricultural applications throughout North America. In 1998, the first co-extrusion line was commissioned to increase the product offerings of PolyExpert. Now, some of its specialty products are exported as far away as Australia.
