Purpose of the position<\/h2>\n

In collaboration with the Senior IT and Cybersecurity Director, the incumbent’s main mandate is to act as a programmer analyst. He must keep the existing programs within the organization up to date by correcting or modifying them as needed. He must also analyze, design, test and implement new programming projects.
\nAs part of his duties, he ensures the IT development of internal software. He participates in software maintenance activities and provides for the proper functioning of the computer equipment (servers and client workstations).<\/p>\n

It offers all the necessary and required support to users and solves problems with software packages, software and databases.<\/p>\n

Main responsabilities<\/h2>\n

IT development of internal software
\n\u2022 Analyze user \/ department requests;
\n\u2022 Determine the technology and resources required;
\n\u2022 Perform programming\/query (VB.NET, C#, VB6, MSSQL);
\n\u2022 Present the modifications \/ addition to the users \/ departments concerned;
\n\u2022 Installation \/ Update of modifications on workstations;
\n\u2022 Fix problems, if any;
\n\u2022 Prepare the documentation necessary for the user and the maintenance of the software.<\/p>\n

Other tasks<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Provide computer support to users;
\n\u2022 Manage Microsoft SQL databases;
\n\u2022 Support the work of the computer technician, if necessary;
\n\u2022 Train users on new software and application modifications;
\n\u2022 Perform any other related tasks requested by his immediate superior.<\/p>\n

Environment<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Microsoft Windows 11, 10 and 7;
\n\u2022 Microsoft Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016;
\n\u2022 Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
\n\u2022 Microsoft One Drive, Teams, SharePoint;
\n\u2022 Microsoft VB.NET, C#, MSSQL, VB6;
\n\u2022 Computer park including a server room and a hundred workstations, in addition to
\nall network and mobile devices, in an office and factory (industrial) environment.<\/p>\n

Required skills and qualities<\/h2>\n

\u2022 Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in French and English (asset);
\n\u2022 Demonstrate autonomy and initiative;
\n\u2022 Interpersonal skills and leadership;
\n\u2022 Motivated and dynamic;
\n\u2022 Sense of organization involving the ability to work simultaneously on several files;
\n\u2022 Anaytical and synthetical mind;
\n\u2022 Be available on call in rotation 24\/7;<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/h2>\n

\u2022 Possess an AEC in computer management, in IT programming-analyst, DEC in computer technology or any other diploma related to the position sought;
\n\u2022 Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in programming or any significant experience in a similar position;
\n\u2022 Excellent command of VB.NET, C#, MSSQL programming languages;
\n\u2022 Mastery of VB 6 (asset)<\/p>\n
