Job requirements

• Diploma (DEP or DEC) in electromechanics or equivalent;
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position with a manufacturer or in the plastics or food industry, or any other comparable field
• Good mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
• Asset: arc and MIG welding

Work schedule

• Day shifts
• 12-hour shifts 7h00 @ 19h00 (1 week of 36 hours and 1 week of 48 hours (40 reg and 8 overtime 1.5));
• 14 days of work per month
• Every 2nd weekend, you have 3 consecutive days off (Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanic will:
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings
• Perform electromechanical or mechanical work required on preventive and corrective maintenance orders for production equipment and the building;
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules;
• Document work performed in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System);
• Participate in equipment improvements
