PCR resins are produced through various film and packaging recycling processes. They allow packaging to be diverted from landfill sites and help reduce plastics found in our waterways.
Several countries such as Canada or members of the European Union (EU) have adopted laws requiring manufacturers to include a defined percentage of PCR material in their packaging by 2025 and 2030. This will have a strong impact on demand in the coming years.
